Service is NOW or NEVER!!

Upcoming Events:

Children's Institute BINGO-

Thursday 2/4, meet at 6:20 PM

On Thursday, we will be helping the kids at the Children's Institute win some money!! The first Thursday of each month is Kiwanis family BINGO—a great opportunity to help the Children take a break from "real life" and play some BINGO. This is a very rewarding experience—if you are interested, let Courtney know!

National Wear Red Day-

Friday, we will be handing out small pamphlets and bookmarks to make the University of Pittsburgh students aware of the prevalence of heart disease in Women. We will meet at 11:45 at the Cathedral Commons, and will hand out the items until 1:45 (or whenever the supplies run out). If you are interested in helping out with this great campaign, let Courtney know A.S.A.P.

KICO Adopt-A-Block

Saturday 2/6, meet at the 9:45

Where can you find a complete wardrobe and a case of beer cans for free? That's right! Keep it Clean Oakland! On Saturday, we will once again be picking up trash along the Louisa Street stairwell…you don't want miss this unique opportunity to find some treasures! If interested, let Courtney know.

Tabling – Valentine's Day Fundraiser—

Thursday 2/11; Friday 2/12

Next Thursday and Friday, we will be tabling in towers lobby and selling little Valentine's Day goody bags to raise money for Circle K. If you are interested, contact Dave for more information.

***District Convention—

March 26-28; Allentown PA***

District Convention is a weekend filled with meeting members from other clubs, learning more about Circle K, and finding a closer connection with the values that Circle K is built upon. If you are interested in a fun weekend spent with others who share your passions and/or are interested in becoming an officer in the future, I highly recommend keeping this weekend free in your planner! We will have more information in the next few weeks, but if you have any questions, contact Justin Aaron jra22@pitt.edu or any of the officers.

Relay for Life—April 9-10

This year we would like to put a team together for the Relay For Life, an event which raises money for the American Cancer Society. The Relay will be a 24 hour team "relay" from April 9-10—we will need to have at least one person from our team who is walking on the track for the entire time. If you are interested in participating, please sign up at www.relayforlife.org/paupitt. The registration fee is only $5, but will increase as we get closer to Relay, so please sign up ASAP.

A Special thanks to Sheenus Sehgal of the East Liberty Kiwanis for attending our meeting this week! We really appreciate your dedication to all branches of the Kiwanis Family!
