Meeting Recap

Thanks to everyone who came out to our first meeting tonight and stopped by our table at Sunday's activities fair.

If you couldn't make it tonight, here our Secretary Jaclyn's minutes:

• Meetings this year are Tuesdays, 9PM in 209 David Lawrence
• About CK: We're an international service organization and the collegiate branch of the Kiwanis family. This year our projects are going to concentrate on going green and Caitlin's Smiles, an organization that makes goody bags for terminally ill children.
• Upcoming Events:
• Keep It Clean Oakland (KICO): Sunday 8/31, Meet at 10am on the 5th Ave side of the Union. Picking up trash in South Oakland.
  
• WQED: Sat 9/6-9/14. Answer phones for the telethon and maybe be on TV! Sign up this week and next week for a time slot
  
• You can sign up for volunteering by emailing Steph Young (sly6@pitt.edu)
• Announcements: If you were in CK last year, please send me your service hours (jbrucker@pitt.edu) so I can report them to the district board and keep track for you.
